Cutaia Law is made up of Dawn Cutaia and her paralegal, Jessica Macek. Jess is a tremendous resource for our clients, responding to their questions quickly and guiding them through the procedural process of filing for bankruptcy. However, while Jess is a great contact and important part of the firm, clients have significant contact with Attorney Cutaia, who meets with all clients to draft the paperwork and again to review it, so that clients understand it before they sign it. Any court hearings clients must attend will also be with Attorney Cutaia.
Helping You Understand Your Bankruptcy Case
The Bankruptcy Code is extremely technical and the Means Test especially so. We have a dual monitor set up when we meet with clients, so that clients can watch us calculate the Means Test and therefore understand how it works and why the results are what they are. As we review your petition with you, you will get to watch it on your monitor. This helps catch mistakes made by us due a misunderstanding, but also helps you understand why we need the information we ask for to complete your petition. Clients have often commented on how this helps them understand the contents of their petition better. We feel it is important for clients to be educated and informed. When you sign your bankruptcy petition, you should understand how we came up with the numbers and why we included certain information. And if you don't understand it the first time, we will go over it with you as many times as it takes.
